Andrew Silver, Principal with ResolutionExperts.com - a mediation and skills training consultancy - has recently completed Best Practices research for Wachovia that identifies how top companies improve productivity by recognizing the value of healthy conflict among their employees. Other selected accomplishments include:
- As a bank Vice-President and Manager for Quality and Professional Development, trained 200 portfolio managers to become better relationship managers with high net worth clients.
- Facilitated dispute systems design for Investments, Private Client Group, and Trust which established a strategic partnership in order that each high net worth client would have one key relationship manager from within the bank.
- As an Organization Developer for Dupont, trained senior managers to implement a proactive approach for resolving conflict with clients and among employees for which he received Dupont's (only non-technical) Innovator Award.
He holds a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from Columbia College in Columbia, SC. His Bachelor's degree is in Psychology/Education from Friends World College, affiliated with Long Island University in Southampton, NY - an around-the-world university.
He is a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), a leading-edge communications methodology. Current memberships include both ACR (Association for Conflict Resolution) and the Carolinas Organizational Development Network.
