In 2004, Andy was certified as an ombudsperson and mediator for the Department of Defense's National Committee for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. He is volunteering to mediate re-employment disputes between returning reserve soldiers and their employers in North Carolina.

- November 2005: Andy has produced two television shows, airing this month. They are "Deception and Discernment" and "Hypnosis".

- June 2, 2004: Andy was a guest on the hour long Bob and Sheri Radio Show (WLNK 107.9 FM) to discuss divorce mediation with listeners from 65 cities across the country.
- May 13, 2004: Andy facilitated a workshop for a Mecklenburg County Medical Society-sponsored healthcare symposium entitled "Building Organizational Capacity for Issue Resolution within Medical Practices."
- March 2003: March 2003: Andy was selected by the USDA Conflict Prevention and Resolution Center as the only non-attorney mediator along with 12 attorneys and judges to resolve a backlog of civil rights grievances filed by farmers nationwide. These 13 mediators were chosen from a national pool of 164 mediators.
- October, 2002: Andy presented a seminar on Conflict Resolution and Mediation, approved by the NC State Bar for 6 CLE units, to attorneys, mediators, and other legal professionals with the Mecklenburg County Bar.
